Ruined Watchtower
This ruined watchtower is a detailed building produce from high density foam, balsa wood, and filler for texture.
The upper floor has crumbled over the years, leaving dilapidated, teetering walls. At some stage there was a fire, as evident from the charred wooden supports that remain.
What walls do remain provide suitable cover for archers, and a window-slit still stands on the far-wall. A stone staircase leads from outside to the first floor, limiting the flow of people into the tower, thus funnelling invaders and preventing the use of battering rams (though the door no longer stands).
A trap door provides access to the cellar below, where wounded soldiers can be taken for recovery, or other soldiers may rest between battles.
The Ruined Watchtower was designed so that it was large enough to fit a full 20-model unit, with a little room to move. The tower can be removed from its base, revealing the flagstone cellar.
